Our founder Ashton Aaron was granted a scholarship from Charleston White to get certified as a Mental Health First Aid Responder in Fort Worth, Texas.
Now he utilizes the knowledge to help others during Mental Health Crisis moments and has a program to get others interested certified as well.
Had the privilege to volunteer at Lincoln-King High School and it was an incredible experience. Connected with the future leaders of the world, encouraging them to embrace their best selves and continue to stay authentic in everything they do. We were truly grateful for this opportunity.
We joined High Praise Cathedral Church for an evening of fun for the kids, food for anyone hungry, job opportunities with our partner SMS Staffing Solutions and fellowship.
We volunteered with Fennigan's Farms to help plant trees around Mackenzie Elementary-Middle School.
We learned many techniques to properly plant trees and used teamwork to get the job done to beautify the environment.
After an amazing Acupuncture session with Lisa and her team, they had boxes of books available for all the attendees to pick through and grab as many as they want.
Connecting with other leaders in the community to prepare for the upcoming year and how we can come together to enhance our neighborhood.
We volunteered with United Way to pass out thousands of household essentials to the community and other organizations to help ease the stress of being without.
Once we were aware of the interest the young men in our community had on starting their own lawn service we connected with some community leaders to teach them how to repair lawnmowers, the customer service side and helping them start their own LLC.
These were some of the brightest young children we have worked with. Very intelligent, aware and eager to learn and help each other throughout the day.
We took the kids and their parents to Belle Isle's Botanical Garden for a day of fun, activities, grounding and learning.
We got the honor to teach the youth, learn from the elders and connect with the community at the 2nd Annual Motown Artistry Cookout through the game of chess.
